After several months of secretly producing a music project with a gifted young poet, I'm relieved that the album, This Ain't Poetry, is complete.
With the debut of This Ain't Poetry, Phenom discusses her latest project. As an artist, Phenom discusses life, art, and her motivation for the This Ain't Poetry Project.
I look forward to the community supporting this independent artist and hope that our work will inspire others to seek success.

I've decided I'll become a little more active on UTN and figured I'd begin blogging about my different experiences as a model in the QC. With that being said, I had a busy weekend as I participated in two fashion shows.
For the first time since I began modeling, I had two back to back shows this past weekend! Initially, I wasn't sure if I should take on such a task due to the various rehearsals and fittings that were required.
Eventually, I decided to stick with both shows and everything worke… Continue

Today was so rewarding! I recently partnered with a colleague that is developing a soon to be released haircare product line. It was decided several months ago that I would be the exclusive photographer for their marketing materials. As always, I accepted the challenge and began preparing myself to complete a project that would include stylists flying in from out of town, fresh faced models, and a sensitive time line.
At approximately 4pm, over a dozen people converged on my 1,000 square foot s… Continue

A little known fact about me is that I've always wanted to make music. When I was a kid, I was fascinated by Kurtis Blow and many other iconic acts of the 80s. My earliest memories of hip hop are of me literally beat boxing in the back of my mother's Renault during our move to Myrtle Beach in the mid 80s. The entire session lasted almost 4 hours with frequent breaks to grab a sip of something to drink.
Oddly enough, my mother didn't seem to complain as she kept the radio off the entire time and… Continue

I'm-thinking-about-hosting-a-party...
I'd have to go dig through some old bank statements, but I do believe UTN is closing in on its official 1 year anniversary. I've got a place in mind, but I need to know if I've got the support of the site's members to help UTN pull it off!
Offer some feedback and we'll see where this thing goes! Continue

What's up UTN!
I hope everyone is recovering well after all the hardcore New Year celebrations! I want to take a moment to shout out a member of UTN that is really setting the bar for all members of UTN.
Chase Fowler is the first UTN member to post a song to the site using the new music player application we recently introduced! He has posted an amazing cover song that can be played below.
This young man has an amazing voice and is destined to do big things. I hope that his use… Continue
I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday season! I know I did! With the new year comes new resolutions and new challenges.
I will not publicly state what my resolutions are as they are still a work in progress, but as for UTN my vision is that we advance the site as well as expand our current offerings both online and offline.
I have a few ideas on the table and am always looking for input from members. Please do not hesitate to contact me or the UTN Team if you have any suggestions.

I haven't had a lot of time to maintain UTN with the day job really consuming most of my time. However, I have managed to do a little work with music production as well as a little photography as many of you have seen. Make sure you swing by my photo albums and video section to see a few teasers. Big ups to Inasense for the Red photo shoot! She actually applied the visual affects to the shot on her own as well. Now if I can get her to start editing my videos, we might be alright!
I am still wor… Continue

Most know me for my photography, but very few know that music is my first love. I have always loved creating music, but in recent years, I have focused on music production. Originally, I started with FL Studio and have since stepped my game up quite a bit. I won't go into specifics about my current setup as it may bore a lot of people, just know that I intend to release more videos featuring my music production.
I hope that others see the value of creating video content here… Continue

Greetings everybody,
I know its been a long time since I was active on the site, and that doesn't help seeing as how I created this thing in the first place, but I promise you, I have some things in the works. I've been busy with the day job and no...the day job isn't photography!
When things clear up, I'll make sure I give UTN the attention its been missing!
For now, I hope that members continue to spread the word on the site as well as post pictures, videos, blog posts, etc!

For some of my photographers, this will be old news but Biggs Camera is a great resource for all your photography needs. A few months ago, I tried to track down their website. There wasn't much to be found, but then recently, I ran into a link for their site: http://www.biggscamera.com
One item I wanted to draw attention is the store offers equipment rentals!
This may prove to be a great resource for those seeking to expand your skills and portfolio, without the long-term financial commitments… Continue

I hope everybody enjoys the video interview with local designer, Veronica Pearson, conducted by our own King Eugene. When UTN was initially launched part of our vision was to place an emphasis on utilizing technology to promote innovation from members and site visitors.
This is our first attempt at what we hope will become the norm for UTN. Our goal is that others will follow suit and begin developing their own video productions for posting at UTN. We want to be a spring board for innovation an… Continue
